Is this sony’s new way to hype?

I’ve been noticing their are more and more “leaks” now-a-days compared to then when they formally announce things. Think back to when the PSPgo was announced and that Qore video was released early. Here. That and now the PS3 Slim being shown to the world, in the Philippians? I believe its pretty fishy. Since Sony was very mad about the PSPgo leak and its ruined their E3. “People don’t respect confidentiality in this industry,” says Jack Tretton, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America. “It’s tough enough to keep a secret within your own company, much less when you speak to third parties.” If this is their new way to hype, its a good and bad thing. over to my friends house and showed them the leaks, images, and videos. And it makes it very exciting. I even showed my gf and she’s planning on buying me PSPgo :] Bad. It doesn’t have the big punch when noone knows about it and they announce it in a press release. Do you believe the “Leaks” are sonys new way to hype or is it just the slip of the tongue and/or “fell off the assembly line and is a prototype.”?
