Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software discuss the ALL-NEW Face Off gameplay style and Collection 2 DLC in this behind-the-scenes multiplayer video for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This mode actually looks really cool, and I can’t wait to try it out. As usual, no release date has been announced yet for PS3, as this will be a limited time Xbox exclusive. Totally new to the franchise, FACE OFF distills all the fun and intensity of multiplayer into a new breed of 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2 close combat. Featuring smaller, super-concentrated multiplayer maps specially designed for FACE OFF to encourage strategy, skill, and teamwork like never before.

Just when the industry thought they figured out the Call of Duty formula, Treyarch switches it up and gives us a futuristic look at what the world may become. With that the world premiere trailer is downright straightforward and it looks like we wont be stuck in the jungles of Vietnam in the next installment. Enough talk, just watch. IGN’s ‘VS’ Pits MW3 Against Battlefield 3

This year’s two biggest military shooters, both released within the last 30 days, are, of course, Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3. IGN has pitted the two in a head-to-head competition by putting the players (read: IGN’s readers) in charge of the outcome across three categories: graphics, multiplayer, and campaign. Given the sales numbers and the fanboyism behind one of the titles, the outcome is rather surprising. Just look at the total votes for each title at the end. I got a chuckle out of it.

Schofield Angry With Fans Who Has Early Copy Of Modern Warfare 3, No Stats Reset

Glen Schofield has shared his anger on Twitter with people getting their hands early on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Fans of the popular FPS shooter have been wondering if Activision would reset the multiplayer stats when the game officially launches on November 8 since some players claimed to have reach level 3rd Prestige.

Modern Warfare 3 Teaser Trailers Released

Earlier today, Activision had released these teaser trailers for the upcoming Call of Duty title, Modern Warfare 3. Both trailers show off a couple theaters; New York City and London. No gameplay or anything is shown, but you can find tons of leaked information about the game (some factual, others not), which is all over the internet by now.
