Resistance 3 Closed Beta Code Giveaway

According to PlayStation Blog , Owners of SOCOM 4 “specially marked Packages” will be able to redeem their codes and get early access to the Beta on Thursday, August 4th. Followed by PlayStation Plus subscribers in the UK and Europe reign whom will get access on August 10th. As for U.S Plus subscribers they will have to wait until August 23rd to access the beta. The Resistance 3 Beta will include two of the game’s major maps, the Seaside of Glamorgan in Wales and a Train yard in Bogota Colombia. More details ahead: “The Public Beta includes two of our five multiplayer modes, Team Deathmatch and Chain Reaction (the other three are Deathmatch, Breach, and Capture the Flag). You can level your character up, buy and upgrade weapons and abilities, customize your loadouts and unlock new character skins. We have capped the level in the beta at 20, so you won’t be able to get the full range of abilities, modes, maps, and weapons until the game launches in September.” Once again, none plus subscribers worldwide are left in the dark, as there are no news of when they will have beta access.

Resistance 3 Beta Detailed

During a Comic-Con interview with Gamespot , Twisted Metal series creator David Jaffe confirmed that Twisted Metal “doesn’t” need an open Multiplayer beta. We are planning a private and semi-private beta. A game like Twisted Metal doesn’t require that large of a testing phase and a private beta will give us better, more focused results. When asked about the possibility of a Twisted Metal Collector’s Edition and the ESRB Ratings, Jaffe denied knowledge of a collector’s edition, but he confirmed the game’s ESRB M-rating. Twisted Metal is set for October 4th 2011 only on PS3.

The beta will be available on June 28th to people who bought Infamous 2 and Playstation Plus members. Play Uncharted 3 Muliplayer and Earn Rewards at Launch

Sucker Punch just announced that they will extend the time for the inFamous 2 beta, due to the PSN outage. The message was posted on their Facebook and Twitter pages. “SuckerPunchProd Sucker Punch We’ve decided to extend the beta. Once PSN is back up we’ll determine by how long, but rest assured: your outcry has been heard.” I’m sure other will follow suite, and/or compensate for time lost.

Well, I’m sure most of you already know the SOCOM: 4 Beta came out a couple hours ago. If you don’t, then, well, I have no faith in humanity. Socom 4 Beta Code Winners

The Killzone 3 1.06 patch is available for download in EU territories, and weighs at 45MB. It is supposed to fixed lag issues introduced after the 1.04 patch, and it also fixes some scoring related bugs.

The PS3 version of Crysis 2 has had its problems and it appears EA doesn’t want to take any chances. From the Crysis 2 Blog: “Thank you for your interest in the PlayStation 3 version of the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo. Though many gamers have had a great experience playing the demo, we are aware that others have been experiencing server connection delays. We’ve identified the root cause and have decided to close the PS3 demo in the next 24 hours to ensure all issues are resolved when the game launches next week.
