Killzone 3 Game Night | April 14th

I wasn’t sure if I would be able to host a game night until now. So let’s try out the new maps : Junkyard & Stahl Arms. If your a PS+ Member you can get them for free! If your not you can snag them for $4.99. I know there has been some interest in a clan tournament. We just need a full team to promise they will show up at the appointed time for the match. I’ll look into this more tonight. Killzone 3 action will begin around 6 pm MST; I can play for at least 3 hours. When I invite you to the “PS3Blog.net Game Night” text chat, please join it. It makes it much easier to communicate quickly with everyone. If you’d like to join us, leave your PSN ID below. My PSN ID is xBerserker, but mention “KZ3 PS3Blog.net” in your PSN friend request message or I will not add you. If you would like to set up another time for a game night, you can arrange it in the PS3Blog.net Game Night Group. Here is a mini-recap from last weeks game night. We tried out a custom match which didn’t have very many settings. Pretty much map and game type only. We only did about 3 rounds of that and they moved on to Warzone & Operations. Had a ok turnout too. Here is all that attended that I can recall let me know if I missed you (I know I’m missing a couple people). Everyone gets 50 points for showing up. Jcmdaddy, Ace, BLOODYICECREAM, tech.

Portal 2: Aperture Investment Opportunity #3: Turrets

Here is another great video showcasing the investment opportunity that you may get if you invest in Aperture Laboratories. As before Valve, in partnership with Aperture Science have released their third video showcasing the turret. Now keep in mind that these turrets are not only for the military, just look at the end of the video and notice how easily they can be setup to protect your loved ones. Maybe we should have our very own EdEN about investing in one of these bad boys, after all he just became a father! The forth and final video will be released sometime next week. Keep in mind that the game is coming out on the 19th of April, which is right around the corner. Oh and if you haven’t entered our Portal 2 contest , be sure to do so!

Star Drone on PSN Today

Here is a look at Star Drone, which hits today on PSN. Plus members: you may recall your getting this at a discounted $4.99 compared to the retail price of $7.99. PlayStation Move support included! 50+ levels sounds like it will be worth the money. 3D is also supported. Reminds me of those Japanese pinball games where you drop the ball in at the top of the machine and simply watch it bounce down. The ball is controlled by simple gestures with either the DualShock 3 or Move controller. Source: PSBlog

Uplink has you stealing the enemy data and returning it to your base. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that when you download said data, and begin returning it, everybody in the game can see your location. So, that is the rundown; get out there and redeem those codes! Source: PSBlog
