Modern Warfare 3 DLC Released For Xbox Elite Subscribers

New Modern Warfare 3 DLC is now available for Xbox Elite subscribers. The COD MW3 DLC will include two new multiplayer maps, Sanctuary and Foundation. Sanctuary takes place in Greece, and Foundation is based in South Korea.   Elite Drop 7: Sanctuary Suspended in the air one thousand feet up, you’ll battle more than altitude in the towering sandstone monasteries of Central Greece. Formed over millions of years, this sanctuary’s natural rock pillars have repelled invading armies and withstood the ravages of time but now they’ll face your deployment. Test your skills-and the ancient monks’ craftsmanship-with your arsenal of SMG’s, assault rifles and shotguns. Just remember: don’t look down. Elite Drop 8: Foundation Journey into the heart of South Korea for a decommissioned concrete factory where the cement flows and bullets fly. After decades of constructing roads and buildings, the towering facility is now a perfectly-constructed combat zone for sniping and run-and-gun rules of engagement. Don’t stand in awe of the towering concrete crusher at the center of the factory unless you want to see your kill ratio meet the same fate.

Infinity Ward Comments On Modern Warfare 3 Cheaters

A gaming publication criticized Infinity Ward on not monitoring Modern Warfare 3 cheaters. Robert Bowling responded to the accusation via Twitter. The statement, “Cheating goes unchecked online”, is completely false. We actually perform daily sweeps of leaderboards and player stats and take action on any account that is caught boosting or exploiting any glitch. This has been widely publicized and we’re open about bans and actions taken against cheaters via @fourzerotwo on Twitter. Any glitch or exploit that is discovered is then quickly updated and removed from the game. You can check all updates past and current at http://fzt.me/mw3updates

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Patch 1.06 Is Live

This is a small 4mb fix that takes care of all the amazing people who add buttons next to their names. I always laughed when I saw it but it can be bothersome. I may go on a rant a bit here for a moment but how many Call of Duty titles do we have now? How many times are they going to release them with the same set of problems? Regardless we have had a ton of patch’s and there has been many improvements to what remains to be the most brainless fun out there. Here is a full list of what has been changed and what is in the works. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Patches 1.01-1.05) Enabled Theater, Vault, Private Match options, Elite and Facebook functionality for Launch Day. Fix for YouTube video upload on SD TVs. Matchmaking Improvements. Theater Improvements (Fix to FF and RW in Theater), LAG improvements, Improvements to Hot Fix system. Change to address hitching and lag in gameplay. Further improvements for hitching and addressing lag in gameplay. Hot Fix Updates No Recoil glitch Infinite Laptop killstreak glitch (Stealth Bomber Glitch) Map Exploits (Getting into trucks, under maps) Fix Prevent Slow-mo and Super Fast lobbies Patch 1.06 Additional improvements to address lag. Fix for Melee Jump. Clan Tag Validation (remove buttons from clan tags). Improve Host Migration logic. Prevent stat Loss. Incoming Hot Fixes Weapon Rebalancing (Dual FMG-9, Type-95, CM-901 Attachments) Hitmarker Sound on Ps3 Reticle fix for certain weapons. Feedback in Discussion Updates to the Spawn system Further “lag compensation” or “host advantage / disadvantage” updates plus ability for on-going hot fixes based on feedback. Default :30 Round Start timer for System Link only, while looking into adjustable timer for System Link games for Competitive Play. Options to allow System Link players to ‘unlock all’ for competitive play in System Link only. I personally like how overpowered the dual FMG’s are If you missed it there is a MW3 and Battlefield 3 gun chart posted in our forums here . Source: MP1st
