New Monster Hunter 3 HD Screens Released

Sony Japan has released some new screens of the upcoming Monster Hunter 3 HD for the PS3. It has also been confirmed that the game will be available digitally on Japanese PSN, which is a welcome addition for a game that sold over 4 million in Japan. The game can be imported for $59 with shipping from HERE . All PS3 games are region free and can be played on any console. The Blu-ray includes all Monster Hunter videos from previous titles done in HD and believe me when I say that is a lot of videos. Your save game is transferable from PSP to PS3 as well. The multi-player will use adhoc so I wanted to point out that adhoc uses a wired internet connection only and this may still be the case, again I am not sure. If you played the previous titles and are curious as to whats new in 3 here is a quick look at a video I made. Here is the official Trailer Source: Capcom Japan

Prey 2 “Bounty” E3 Trailer

Bethesda continues to amaze with amazing looking trailers. “Prey 2, the sequel to the award-winning 2006 game, is an open world sci-fi shooter about Killian Samuels, a Federal Marshall who is abducted by a cruel race of aliens. Playing as Killian, you find yourself marooned on an alien planet called Exodus. While working as a bounty hunter, you uncover a plot that threatens your home world and it’s up to you to take action!” This official E3 trailer for Prey 2 has got me excited for a sequel to a game I never played. I hope the actual gameplay is as good as this action cut scene. I should be able to play this at E3, so stay tuned for my opinion next week.

Newest PSN Update and What You Need to be Wary Of

Sony has posted a new update on the outage of the PlayStation Network with some more concrete information as to why the network is currently down. Although there was previously only speculation as to why the outage took place, it’s nice to know that Sony has finally brought us out of the dark. So what did they say happened? We are currently working to send a similar message to the one below via email to all of our registered account holders regarding a compromise of personal information as a result of an illegal intrusion on our systems. These malicious actions have also had an impact on your ability to enjoy the services provided by PlayStation Network and Qriocity including online gaming and online access to music, movies, sports and TV shows. We have a clear path to have PlayStation Network and Qriocity systems back online, and expect to restore some services within a week. There you have it. The outage shouldn’t last any more than 7 more days, barring any possible issues that may arise between now and then. For now, Sony is unsure if credit card information has been obtained, but as a precautionary method, they advise you to keep an eye on fraudulent activity, and to change your password when PSN comes back up. For more details on steps to follow for your protection, check out the Official Blog
