Yes, the date is correct. We are a tad bit late when it comes to do our recaps (perhaps because we care more about gaming than writing…). Unfortunatelly I was not playing that night due to personal matters, but Sinlock was in a good mood to let me write this recap and distribute the points to the players that were having fun that night. No more waiting. Here are the awards for the RDR Game Night, July 17th: – Thanks for Playing Award: This is the standard one, just for joining us in the fun. Acezakj , MMBosstones86 , NashtheSlash and Sinlock received 50 points each. – It’s My First Time Award: MMBosstones86 did quite a debut and received 50 points for the baptism of fire. Hope he comes back for more slaughtering… – The Fisherman Award: Acezakj caught a couple of fishes for dinner, with an all new method of fishing using a shotgun at the water during The River mission… The problem is that he was out of ammo at the time of the action… Minor issue, 50 points for him. Hey, at least he won’t be hungry… – Ninja Medic Award: Oh, the pain… is over, if you are hanging around with MMBosstones86 . 50 points for our Marie Curie Nurse in disguise. – Kill Stealer Award: Let NashtheSlash finish the job for you. His motto is “Double the points, half the shooting”. 50 points for him. – Mi Casa Es Tu Casa Award: Sinlock deserves 50 points for organizing all the stuff and keeping people together during the event. RDR Game Night Recap: July 17th

Sony has already announced a few options for gamers who want to get Move. There’s the standalone pack for US $49, the US $99 bundle that comes with the controller, a PlayStation Eye, and a Move-enabled game, and a console bundle that goes for US $399. Word has it there’s a cheaper console bundle coming too. This other bundle, which will supposedly be sold for US $349, pretty much includes the same stuff as the US $399 bundle — a PS3, a Move controller, a PS Eye camera, a DualShock controller, and a game. According to Gamervision’s source, the difference is in the console hard drive sizes. The more expensive bundle will come with a 320GB console while the cheaper one will have a 120GB PS3. Paired with rumors of Sony replacing 120GB models with the 320GB ones, the bright side here is that the 120GB PS3s may get a US $50 price cut once these bundles hit retail. Don’t get your hopes up too much, though. Sony has yet to announce anything official regarding this. Via [ Gamervision ]

Rumor: There’s a cheaper Move bundle coming

Those looking for a Star Wars game to play on their PS3 or PSP can look no further than PSOne Classics service. The ESRB has recently rated the PSOne title, Star Wars: Dark Forces, for PS3 and PSP. *No word yet on when it will launch. Video Press Release Star Wars: Dark Forces is an FPS developed by LucasArts for the original PlayStation and follows the adventures of the mercenary, Kyle Katarn. It didn’t win a lot of accolades, but if you feel like diving into the older Star Wars games it should be right up your alley. Via [ Joystiq ]
