According to Tommy Rydling from DICE on a post at the Official PS Blog all the first “full-blown” DLC packs for Battlefield 3 will come a week early for the Playstation 3. The first DLC will be Back to Karkand: four of the most loved maps from Battlefield 2, boldly reimagined in the Frostbite 2 engine. It also features new weapons and vehicles, unique in-game dog tags, new persistence, as well as new Trophies. Everyone who pre-orders the Limited Edition (at no increased cost) gets this for free. It will be downloadable from PSN for $10 along with other retailer exclusive pre-order incentives. Personally I have pre-ordered BF3 for the DLC with no extra costs and obviously because the game looks incredible. This is an interesting move, considering BF3 direct competitor Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has secured timed exclusivity for all DLC on XBox 360, furthermore increasing the competition between both games AND consoles. What do you guys think, is this a good thing or one week is not really relevant?

Lonesome Road, the fourth add-on pack for Fallout: New Vegas, is now available for download on the PlayStation Network. “In Lonesome Road you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of Fallout: New Vegas. Ulysses promises the answer as to why he didn’t take the job, but only if you make one last journey into the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. It’s up to you whether you take the job or not.”

It’s been a while since we’ve seen the man, but Kevin Butler is back (from an apparent failure as a flooring salesman) and he’s bringing his A game, or many AAA games, you decide. What do you guys think of the new “Long Live Play” slogan? I have always been a fan of “It Only Does Everything”, but I could get used to it. Specially if it means more KB!
