Red Dead Redemption Zombie Undead Nightmare Pack Info

RDR’s Undead Nightmare Pack will bring “new weapons, new animations, and new enemy models and AI (zombie animals!)” IGN  had an interview with Rockstar San Diego Studio Manager Steve Martin about RDR and the upcoming single player Undead Nightmare DLC. This is what he had to say: “The major piece of single player content, the Undead Nightmare pack, will amaze fans of the single player game when they see it. The single most fan requested game idea in the history of Rockstar –an open world zombie game – brought to life for ten bucks. Everyone here is very excited about this one! This is a classic example of how coming up with a great theme and exploring it fully makes you look at the world in new ways. There is going to be a full-blown narrative built in to the original game that tells the story of how the infestation came about and its effect on society and the landscape. There are a lot of cool new features planned. We’re adding new weapons, new animations, new enemy models and AI (zombie animals!), just to name a few. You may even run into some old friends! Rockstar has toyed with Zombies before with GTA IV’s Kill a Rockstar viral achievement, but we’re pulling out all the stops for this to make it feel like a proper zombie experience, within the familiar world of Red Dead Redemption. We’re having a lot of fun making it, it’s full of surprises and it’s shaping up to be amazing to play. ” Read the rest of the article here.

New Red Dead Multiplayer Mode

As you already know, the upcoming “Liars & Cheats” addon-pack for Red Dead Redemption brings multiplayer card and dice games to the virtual table, but it also adds a new multiplayer mode called “Strong Hold”. Strong Hold mode offers capture-the-zone gameplay. The attacking team has to secure some control-points, the other team tries to prevent this. Once the attacking team runs out of lives or time, the roles are reversed. The maps also contain a safe that need to be cracked to obtain a new weapon called “explosive rifle”. Following maps are available for Strong Hold: Blackwater, Escalera, Fort Mercer and Thieves Landing. The trailer below gives you a better idea of what to expect, the fun begins at the 50 sec marker:

Some Cool Game-Based Movie Trailers

These are all fake, and created by YouTube user bloodrunsclear. The above is for Red Dead Redemption (and I think he did an awesome job with it), using scenes from multiple movies and mashing them together. He’s got a whole collection of them, too, so be sure to check out his page ! There are so many, I didn’t know which ones to put up. A few more after the jump (I put the Heavy Rain one up top, since it was done VERY well).

FAT Princess Turns 1

It seems like it was just yesterday that I was running around with cake trying to fulfill the princesses epic request for “more cakey” as she put it. But according to Atomic Operations the creators of the fun, loving, and action packed exclusive its already been a year. To celebrate they have released their Fat Princess single: Castle Intruder, which can be found on the Official PS3 Blog . I for one think the single is pretty good. It’s quirky which is very fitting for the game and it just seems like it was a lot of fun to make. For those of you who haven’t gotten the game be sure to do so, it’s a lot of fun in general but when you have a bunch of friends with you it’s even that much better. Be sure to grab this one, as it has a lot of support and a bunch of people that play it daily.
