Xbox 360 Elite Australian release dated and priced

Good news for Xbox 360 fans in the land down under. PALGN has confirmed the pricing and release day for Xbox 360 Elite.

Previous reports proved to be true, as Microsoft’s Elite will be coming to Australia on August 30 at a retail price of AU 729.95 (roughly US 565). The said console will be coming with a 120 GB hard drive, a matching black wireless controller, an Xbox Live headset, and an HDMI cable. Sold separately are additional black wireless controllers, Play & Charge kits and rechargeable batteries.

Xbox Australia product marketing manager, Jeremy Hinton had that to

say:

Xbox 360 Elite has been designed with a high-end enthusiast audience in mind. With HDMI support and a much larger storage capacity for games, the Xbox 360 Elite helps to satisfy our customers growing appetite for premium gaming and entertainment experiences.
